MAC Summer Release: Hey Sailor! (Pic Heavy)

When its hot and the sun wilts your powersuits and you would give anything for a breath of fresh air, what do you do? You ditch those stuffy clothes and go sailing! The French Riviera, the local beach, Marbella or Malibu, it doesn't matter!
And to keep you gorgeous on the blue seas this summer, MAC launches its Hey Sailor! Collection -  on May 24th in North America, while worldwide / international is will be launched in May 2012. Unfortunately, like most MAC releases  this year Hey, Sailor! MAC cosmetics Summer Makeup Collection 2012 will be a limited edition collection, unless the big bosses change their minds.
I would suggest that if you really like something make sure to buy 2 or more of whatever you like from this collection since so far everything is slated to be LE and nothing will be part of the permanent collection.

What I like about this collection:
Red Racer lipstick could displace Ruby Woo as my fav red lippie
The Pro Longwear Bronzers could be good for the Indian tones
The brush looks soft and effective
The nautical lines on the containers are super cute and a change from the relentless black of MAC
I love how they have balanced the mannish sailor look with red lipstick and nails of the model here :D :
What I don't like about this collection:
The mascara wand looks like its awkward to use with a bulky base and its bristles looks like they picked it up from some drag queen's cheapest make-up kit
The colors are not really suitable for the average Indian skintones though fair beauties will be able to carry them easily
Wish they had done a larger feminine bag because lets face it, if I was paying 50-odd Dollars I wouldn't want a tiny kit bag or a duplicate of the bag I went to tutions with way back in school =)) I would love to go with something like this:

So what do you think of this collection? Personally for me, the only high note is the red racer, otherwise I'm giving this a miss.
